Russell Ford, born and raised in Provo, Utah, a second generation butcher following in his father’s footsteps. Began working the trade as a young boy helping his father in their family owned butcher shop, processing beef, pork, and wild game. He started making Jerky with his own recipes which became very popular among the locals and blossomed to the entire state. Which quickly led to him outgrowing his facility.
Being an animal lover and an owner of Dogs and cats, Russ decided to start making jerky treats for pets, he started producing the treats in his Provo plant in 1997, and it became so popular that he decided to expand into manufacturing at a larger scale and Clear Creek Pet Products was born.
He opened Clear Creek Pet Products in 2016 where this passion and love for pets has launched this manufacturing facility, and continues to grow at a fast pace. Russell is hard working, fun loving, and passionate family man. He enjoys nature and the outdoors, where he spends much of his off time with his family and friends. He is excited about his venture in the pet treat industry and has always loved working with people that share his vision.
